The fourth workshop within the SYSMICS Project was held at Chapman University (California, USA)\u00a0from the 14th to the 17th of September 2018. The workshop involved 25 researchers, both coming form\u00a0external and partner universities.
\nThe scienti\fc program of the workshop focused on dualities between algebraic, logical and semantic\u00a0categories, especially from the point of view of duality theory (see WP8, Dualities). In addition to the\u00a0standard presentations, the workshop also featured two guided discussions. The \ffirst discussion highlighted\u00a0several recent dualities based on polarities that generalize many of the well known dualities in algebra and\u00a0logic. The second discussion centered around making a catalog of dualities. Both were very successful\u00a0and stimulated further collaborations.<\/p>\n
