How to get to the conference<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Where's<\/a><\/p>\n

The conference will take place on the island of Ischia. \u00a0 Ischia\u00a0is situated in the Gulf of Naples in Southern Italy, around 30 kilometres (19 miles) from the nearest city,\u00a0Naples.<\/p>\n

To get to Ischia\u00a0one needs to take an “aliscafo” (hydrofoil) which takes 45 minutes or a “traghetto” (ferry boat) which takes 1.5 hours. \u00a0Boats to Ischia stop either at Casamicciola Terme or Ischia Porto. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The main conference place, as well as many hotels are closer to Ischia Porto. \u00a0In case you arrive at Casamicciola, you will need to take a bus or a taxi to get to Ischia Porto.\u00a0There are several boats every day leaving form Molo Beverello<\/strong> and Molo Mergellina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From Napoli Capodichino Airport<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Airport\"Outside the airport take the Alibus (timetable<\/a>),\u00a0tickets are available on the bus. This will first stop at Napoli Central Station and then proceed to the port.<\/p>\n

A taxi is also an option, the rate should be around 20 euros.<\/p>\n

From\u00a0Rome (Fiumicino or Ciampino airports)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"logo_colosseum\"There are\u00a0quick connections from Roma Termini<\/em> and Roma Tiburtina<\/em> to Napoli Central Station (less than 1 hour and a half) one is frecciarossa<\/a> and the other is Italo<\/a>. \u00a0If you arrive at\u00a0Fiumicino or Ciampino airports, you will first need to get to Termini<\/em> or Tiburtina<\/em> station via a train or shuttle bus.<\/p>\n

\"Department<\/a>The school will take place at the Department of Mathematics<\/a> of the University of Salerno<\/a>.
\nThe campus of the University of\u00a0Salerno is located outside the city<\/a>, in the town of Fisciano, 14 km East. \u00a0There is plenty of connections between the city of Salerno and the campus during working days, while they become less frequent in the weekends.<\/p>\n
