DOCToR
Duality, Order, (Co)algebras, Topology, and Related topics
Workshop on the occasion of the graduation of Marco Abbadini and Luca Carai
Online, July 7-9, 2021.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers working on algebraic structures, topological spaces, and the dualities connecting them. Algebras endowed with order relations and order-preserving operations play an important role in such investigations and have been extensively studied because of their applications in many fields. This workshop focuses on their role in topology and logic: they provide categories dual to several topological categories, and they give rise to algebraic semantics for many logical systems.
DOCToR has been organized on the occasion of the Ph.D. graduation of Marco Abbadini (University of Milan) and Luca Carai (New Mexico State University).
The conference will be held online using zoom. During the coffee breaks, we will meet via Gather.
