Title: Some comments about locally finite MV-algebras.
Abstract: An algebraic structure is locally finite if all of its finitely generated subalgebras are finite. In the last decades, locally finite MV-algebras were significantly featured in a number of research papers and projects. In this talk I would like to discuss what we know about this category, and especially what we do not yet know in connection with some problems that remain open.
